“IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN”

“It is never too late to learn” – under this motto within the First Days of National Lifelong Learning held from 1 to 3 October 2015 in Burgas were presented those two short documentaries. Through individual human stories – stories of people who left education before completing their secondary education – they presented the benefits of learning, although at a later stage of life; revealed the potential of education to change human lives and improve the quality of life regardless of age, when it has been acquired. We see the enthusiasm in the eyes of the people sitting at school after years, sometimes decades interruption. We hear encouraging words from their parents, friends, and sometimes children, experience with their teachers their success when ambitions are growing in parallel with the knowledge and they decide to continue their education at university. The aim of the film is to motivate potential adult learners, especially from disadvantaged groups and those with low basic skills to engage in various forms of education and training for adults.

The movies were prepared within the project № 554 834-EPP-1-2014-1-BG-EPPKA3-AL-AGENDA “National coordinators in the implementation of the European Agenda for Adult Learning”, funded under the program “Erasmus +” of the European Commission.  They reflect only the views of their authors, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use of he contained information.
